The mastery says that I need to unlock the "turtle mount collection" but the first achievement is linked to "Stomping Around" which has no "turtle" word on it nor is it on the collection category. This kind of makes it impossible to search by the word and makes it pretty obscure.
The community's response to this meta has been abysmal. I don't mean the "this is too hard" stuff. I mean the dogpiling, misinformation, and general toxicity. There is absolutely no justification for how people are being treated. People from both sides of the playerbase are completely incapable of understanding nuance or even listening to aPrior to growing into siege turtles, they reside here and live as cute baby turtles. While visiting the Juno Hatchery, you will be able to complete the achievement called A Strange Diet. Related: Guild Wars 2: End Of Dragons - How To Get A Siege Turtle. This achievement requires you to feed a baby turtle 11 different treats.
Turtle mount need some other way. Either need public kaineng overkook strike mission or some other option to complete the last step, it isn't possible to get in raid, I play wvw can't invest that much time in strike mission but I love going around on mounts, no aim just roaming pve land with mounts,. Boyshark.1937. Hey, so it's clear that in the new update, Anet wants us to use our turtle mount more. I think there's a large disconnect between the fantasy of what the turtle mount was marketing to be vs what we ended up with. I'd think more players would be happy to use the turtle mount if it was a little faster, more responsive, and maybe
The latest beta for ArenaNet’s MMORPG Guild Wars 2 gives players a taste of an impressive new mount that will be arriving in next year’s expansion – a giant, two-seater Siege Turtle with
The turtle is currently locked behind a meta event that is very difficult to do (similar to Chak when it was released) Give it a try to look at the map. But don't expect LFG groups or random maps to succeed. If you just wanna do it for the reward or enjoy the game as a casual player then wait a few weeks and focus on the easier content first
The owner will take on the role of the driver, controlling movement, the turtle’s basic Slam attack, and any previously unlocked mount utility skills. The passenger will control the turtle’s turrets and can give the driver a boost with Overdrive. To join another player’s mount as a passenger, you will need to join their party or squad.

Movement looked smooth enough to me for a giant turtle. You also have the camera turn for proper aiming. It has a decent amount of HP, which makes sense for a Siege Mount. They also took things like looting, ammo regeneration, water areas and visual clutter into account when they designed the mount - that's definitely a plus.
